Cell-free protein expression

The NMR Centre has over the last years set up and maintained an in-house cell-free protein synthesis (CFPS) capability to facilitate NMR sample production. The system has been optimized to ensure efficient and specific isotope incorporation and is currently employed successfully on a wide variety of protein systems ranging from small intrinsically unstructured domains to human G-protein coupled receptors.
