Wet lab facilities

The NMR centre houses a small wet lab intended for sample preparation only.

The wet lab contains the necessary equipment and consumables for visiting researchers, e.g. pipettes, a benchtop centrifuge, common deuterated NMR solvents, sample tubes and lyophilization equipment. Additionally, a MicroCal VP-ITC and a Biacore X are available for macromolecular interaction studies with microcalorimetry or surface plasmon resonance, respectively.

The major part of the wet lab activities are carried out at the Lundberg laboratory, where lab space is shared with Biochemistry and Biophysics. Here, both in vivo and in vitro protein expression, purification and characterization are performed in that access to e.g. fermentors, liquid chromatography, PCR machines, spectrophotometers and DSF equipment are readily avaliable.

Any questions regarding the wet lab actvities can be addressed to Anders Pedersen or Cecilia Persson.
